In his latest interview, the UKIP leader Henry Bolton, told Nick about the inclusion of a lion in UKIP logo, explaining that the UKIP Logo was all about symbolism, not biology.
The political leader, told the viewers at LBC that they are striving to work on adjustments to the party logo as it bore too much resemblance to the logo of the Premier League. Henry insisted that the new lion logo is “fully bulletproof” as it does not imply any copy rights infringement and is different in many ways, but in a way that the people would hardly notice.
In his interview with Nick, he said that the lion logo symbolizes great importance for the party, he said, “I would call it similar, we’re going to make some small adjustments to it probably. It’s something we’re working on. It may change in ways you won’t even notice. It was adopted at our conference, it is fully bulletproof in terms of copyright – and we’re not in the business of trying to start a football team, yet.”
About the new UKIP logo he added, “The lion is trying to portray that we are British, that Britain is a strong country. Britain has a strong, proud tradition. It is British. I get it that lions now roam Africa but it’s about the symbolism, not the biology of it.”
